Owens & Minor announces winners of the 2015 Summit, Pinnacle, MediChoice^®, and SCORE Manufacturer of the Year Awards, recognizing exceptional service & operational excellence

The four manufacturer awards were presented to the winners at Owens & Minor's 2015 National Sales Conference, held November 9-12 in Orlando, Florida.

Owens & Minor recognized achievement in four categories:

• The 2015 Summit Manufacturer of the Year Award was given to Medtronic for top performance by a branded manufacturer with sales volume exceeding $25 million annually.
• The 2015 Pinnacle Manufacturer of the Year Award was given to Smith & Nephew's US Advanced Wound Management business for excellence by a branded manufacturer with sales volume under $25 million annually.
• The 2015 MediChoice® Manufacturer of the Year Award was given to priMED Medical Products for exceptional performance in providing products for Owens & Minor's private label, MediChoice®.
• The 2015 SCORE Manufacturer of the Year Award was given to TIDI Products for fully embracing the O&M scorecard program as an opportunity to achieve improvement through collaboration and for demonstrating measurable and consistent improvement.

Each of these manufacturers was recognized for exceptional performance on a combination of objective and subjective measures. Objective measures included: sales growth, performance against operational objectives, and profitability. Subjective measures included: a willingness and ability to collaborate, responsiveness, product, and program innovation, and the overall quality of the manufacturer/distributor relationship. The SCORE program specifically measures performance against an Owens & Minor scorecard.
